Texas Department of Public Safety troopers responded around 11:35 p.m. on July 26, 2026, east of Windmill Farms Boulevard.
Officials said a 2013 Hyundai was disabled in the eastbound right lane when the approaching semi-trailer was unable to avoid it and struck the rear of the car.
The impact pushed the Hyundai over the bridge's concrete railing. The 38-year-old driver and her daughters, ages 14 and 9, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured, and the investigation remained ongoing.
